This beer has been made with a base of Golden Promise grain and we've used a hop blend of Amarillo, Centennial & Columbus hops in the kettle at various stages to give a complex robust bitterness.
We've then dry hopped in two stages, once during active fermentation with Simcoe & Amarillo, to add the classic West Coast notes, and then some new Talus hops post fermentation, to add a little more delicate citrus/grapefruit to the mix.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Probably would have been clear gold but I tipped the lot in. Sticky thin foam. Very nice piny marmalade vibe on top of clean spicy malt. So that’s that then. Good body with sappy light chewy bitterness. Lingering piny orange pith bitterness to finish. Good IPA.

440ml can from the Tipsy Cow, Barnsley. Mid-to dark orange/gold, hazy with an off-white head. Decent lacing down the glass. Tangerine and sharp stone fruit in the aroma. Taste reveals a strong malty backbone with apricot and bittersweet citrus peel. Bittering hops congregate in the back of the tongue for the long finish. A cracker of an IPA.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour with plenty of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, passionfruit, grapefruit citrus, light pepper spice, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
