330ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, firm, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately, minimally spicy, dark malty and minimally zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, some mandarine. Taste is roasty and spicy, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, slightly citrusy fruity hoppy with a zesty touch, notes of liquorice, some coffee, dark chocolate, dark caramel, toffee, a touch of mandarine, orange peel, a minimally salty touch as well. Oily to viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Aroma has a light Imperial BIPA touch, taste tends more to the malty side; well crafted, nice spiciness - interesting interpretation of the style touches some strings neglected from the dominant Polish or Estonian conductors and vice versa.

A black beer, a head is quite big, thick adn light brown. Aroma has liquorice, chocolate, caramel, some dried fruits and salty salt liquorice. Taste has liquorice, caramel, some roastiness, light dried fruitness, nice salty salt liquorice. Also some bitterness is nice there. Medium+ bodied. Nothing special but this is balanced and tasteful beer. Very nice.

33cl can, BB 12/01/2023.

26/II/22 - 33cl can from La Source webshop, shared @ home, BB: 12/I/23 (2022-217)

Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige to brown head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, good roast, dry impression. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: good roast, lots of dark chocolate, bitter, a bit hoppy, slightly sweet, malty, bitter hops, more roast. Aftertaste: more dark roast, some alcohol, malty, some chocolate, bitter, dry, bit metallic, cocoa powder, hoppy finish, good one!
