Keg at Bishops Arms Hornstull, Stockholm. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Pear, grapefruit and caramel up front. Sweet with medium-full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, some salty grapefruit. Really bitter finish. Too clean/caramelly.

500ml bottles shared with friends. Hazy brown coloured body. Diminishing beige head. Mixed aromas of fresh and dried fruits. Fruity taste of orange and apricot alongside a touch of honeyed malts. Malt-fruity ending with firm bitterness. Fine bodied. Likable (Juleølaften, Tromsø 04.12.2015).

On tap at Cafe Fiasco, Oslo. Slighly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Hoppy and herbal aroma with pine, some fruity notes and caramel. Quite sweet with resiny and hoppy flavours and an almost harsh bitterness. Feels a bit unbalanced and it’s not very Christmassy, but quite decent.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Hazy reddish/orange with a small head. Fresh and hoppy with citrus, pineapple and some hay. Also light cookies and some dried fruit. The finish was quite bitter.

On tap at Fiasco, Oslo. Pours muddy brown, probably due to too much yeast in the glass. Small white head. Aroma of pine needles, tropical fruits, a little cat piss. Taste bitter and tart with slightly sweet and very fruity finish. Re-rated 2016-01-15: Bottle at home. Pours hazy dark reddish amber with small beige head. Aroma of pine needles, tropical fruits, ethanol, some sulfur, caramel, chocolate. Tastes very bitter/tart with fruity finish. Medium-full bodied. 2016-11-20: Tastes umami. Medium bodied, smooth mouth feel. 2017-01-06: Bottle at home. Aroma of dark dried fruits.

Nice tasty hoppy ale for the winter time.
Deep amber-ish color with a fine off white head. Bready, hoppy and fruity aroma with a fine intensity. Medium + body and an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness to balance up all the flavors. Bready, hoppy, pine and a bit tropical flavor.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Dyp rødbrun. Uklar. Høyt bobleskum som etterlater en tynn lacing. Litt søt blomsteraroma. Smaken aprikos & tørket frukt med alkoholen lurende under. Avslutter syrlig bittert. Lite julestemning her. Sedimenter med i siste kvelling & igjen på flaska.
