'Sacred beer' or Tapu Pia, as Māori people would called it, is a east coast double IPA loaded with New Zealand hops - Nelson Sauvin and The Bruce. Actually, The Bruce is hop blend of four different hops: early Nelson Sauvin, early Motueka, late Pacifica and mid Pacific Jade.
Expect citrusy and tropical notes with lots of spicy and peppery aromas and hint of ripe grapes.
Brewed with New Zealand hops, this double IPA is very drinkable with 8,2 abv, nice silky body and bitterish finish.

Can, huge thanks Hrabren! Hazy, misty orange body, thick off-white head. Aggressive, really aggressive aroma - pellety, green onion, white grape, but also rough herbal notes. The taste stays along those lines - sure there's some semblance of white grape, melon perhaps, but the rest is an onslaught of rough herbal notes, onion, earthy, even slightly vegetal touches and a hit of bitterness. After some time, after a while it settles and gets more citrusy, but this beer is, sadly, a struggle. Something wasn't right with the hopping. Oh well.

Tap at Goblet, 9/12/21. Too bitter, too much herbs. Pours hazy golden. Also too spicy. Unbalanced. Medium body. Not easy to drink.

On tap at Valhalla Craft Beer Bar, Zagreb. Hazy orange to golden, small off-white head. Burnt rubber/plastic aroma. Aggressively grassy. Fruity underneath. After a while, citrus, orange. Smooth, strong. Fruity, herbal, bitter. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate finish.
