Lustre - Apricot is a collaboration with our good friend Jordan Keeper. In July 2018 Jordan came to Galway & we brewed a Saison with a turbid mash, hopped heavily with HBC341 hops. It fermented & evolved in our foeder over 21 months with a mix of both of our house yeasts. In April 2020 we added 300 grams per litre of Apricots before bottling it on the 15th October 2020.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is tart and acidic as fuck, but in a good way, along with mild vanillaish tones. Flavour is acidic, tart, fruity, some vanilla and wood to it. Nicely tart and dry finish with a slight acidity too.

Bottle from Etre. Slightly cloudy golden with white head. Apricots, some citrus, a bit of yeast and minerals. Slightly fragrant and perfumy. Solid!

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate acetic flavor. Long nice finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle shared in London. Tart and tasty. Lemon, tangerine. Solid. I liked it very much.

Bottle shared at the sweltering Columbus tasting. 13/07/2022. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is green jolly rancher, sick. Flavour is composed semi sweet, sour, green apple. . Palte is sour prickly, sour, harsh green apple.

Bottle split at the DS tasting, can't recall where I acquire this juan, 13/07/2022.
Golden yellow topped with an off white head.
Nose is sharp apricot, grains, hedgerow, mellow yeast flicker, funk.
Taste comprises apricot yoghurt, herb, farmyard notes, peach stones, sharp citric back notes, hay bale, rising acidic bite.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Solid.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Scent is full, funky, apricot, brett. very vibrant. taste is tart, vibrant, apricot (intense) , lovely balanced. Buttery, lactic acid, bit more complex than just only Lactic acid though. Lovely enough !
