Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 21st January 2025. Deep reddish brown with shallow foam and full lacing. Toasty malt aroma. Pleasant blend of herby spices and maltiness in-mouth and a spiced Ovaltine malt finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A copper coloured pour with a ring of white head and light carbonation; bready malt aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a sweet malty taste; then a light bitterness from some burnt caramel to finish. An unexciting mild.

Thin beige head left a spotty cover on thin brown body. Malt, tea & nutty aroma. Medium to thin bodied, soft over the tongue with a clean back. Malt, tea, spiced & peppery tastes with a tangy lightly hopped finish. Just what a Mild should taste like - Excellent.

Cask-conditioned at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol 22/10/2019. medium brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Ripe and slightly bready malts, caramel, a slight nuttiness, a trace of red berries and gentle finish. A pleasant mild.
