330ml bottle, #1301, bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head, black in the glass, upper part lacing. Promising creamy chocolate malty aromas, lightly roasted. Taste of dark chocolate malts, lactose beneath. Semi-sweet and mildly roasted chocolate malts to the ending. Fine bodied. Pretty good. (Hotel room, Oslo 19.01.2022).

KYGG 230521. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor is chocolate, roasted malt, lactose, vanilla, rye bread. Nice beer.

Bottle. A clear-looking dark brown beer with a minimalistic dark beige head. The aroma has dark rye bread, licorice, some burnt malts and a good dash of roasted malts and dark chocolate. It's full-bodied, smooth and lightly warming, with a decent sweetness. Roasted malts, some burnt malts, dark rye bread, hints of licorice and a decent chocolate flavor. Long finish. Quite nice this one. 210523

0,33 flaske fra VP Kvaddå, hjemme: brunsvart med kort skum. Melkesjokolader, sjokoladekarameller og mild urtebitterhet. En søt dessertøl med visse kvaliteter, selv om jeg finner den en smule endimensjonal. Kanskje den vil fungere godt til blåmuggost på pepperkaker? (Forøvrig en god julekombo!)

330 ml bottle, as Skudenes Dørk Chocolate Milk Stout, a Christmas gift (bought at Vinmonopolet Karmøy - Kopervik). ABV is 8%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose and lightly roasted malts, hints of vanilla. Moderate carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Smooth flavour with notes of medium roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee.
