City of Gold is a mid-strength milkshake IPA hopped with Azacca and Chinook hops for notes of peach, strawberry and candyfloss. We used lactose and vanilla for a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and that sweet finish we love with this style.
The name is inspired by the El Dorado hop which went into the first batch of this beer. It made us reminisce about the DreamWorks film 'Road to El Dorado' where two friends search for the infamous City of Gold.

Keg @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Paler golden with a head. Its milkshake styling is very prominent, hoppy and sweet tasting. It has a very sweet aroma and an abundance of sugars.
