The name and artwork is inspired by a fantastic climb in the Fontainebleau forests of France. Brewed to a West Coast style using an unconventional hop combination. We pumped up the IBUs and hopped this SIPA with Motueka, Rakau and Ekuanot. As an old-school IPA, the nose is dominated by tropical fruits but tastes piney with a resinous finish.

Can. Hazy amber beer, short lived pale cream colour head. Palate feels slightly viscous for the abv, decent fine minerally carbonation. Sweetish malts, smooth and mildly dry. Ripe citrus, mostly orange peel. Good cooling pine and a little hop spice. Light dry crispy finish leaves a mild bitter linger. Not bad.

Can from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed Friday 25th May 2018 at a rather wet start to the Bearded Theory Festival. A decent enough light on bitterness but quite fruity session IPA. Not a huge amount going on but what there is, is pleasant enough..A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Can at The Wolf; hazy amber pour with a frothy white head, aroma has light grain citrus, taste has light malts, some citrus, pretty uninspiring.
