Hoot Hoot is the second part of our Point Of Origins Series. This series is formed from our parti-gyle collaboration brew with our friends at Marble Brewery. All the beers in this series have been produced from a single mash and consists of: ‘Hoot’ a forest fruits and coffee Dark Sour, ‘Hoot Hoot’ a black forest gateaux Imperial Sweet Stout and barrel aged variants to be released in due course.
‘Hoot Hoot’ was mix fermented with a combination of both our own and Marble Brewery’s house yeasts. A decadent amount of lactose and muscovado sugars were included alongside sweet cherries, redcurrants, blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries, vanilla and cacao nibs to create this incredibly sweet, fruity and truly indulgent black forest gateaux inspired dessert stout.

Keg @ 57 Thomas Street, Manchester. Black with no head and its strength is very evident in its taste, but not so in its aroma as it has a full chocolate nose. This develops in its flavour and is a brew for the sweet palate.
