Based on the recipe for Octopod we have brewed a 7% Milkshake IPA with mangoes. With the silky mouthfeel of its bigger brother, Mango Manatee is packed full of juicy mangoes, vanilla and a hint of Huell Melon.

Keg at the beer merchants tap, Hackney. An opaque bright orange, mango juice coloured pour with no head to speak of. Aroma is milky, lactose, light tang, meaty mango, some orange. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, milky, spicy, green hop dust, solvent, plastic. Harsh. Palate is semi sweet, harsh bitterness, moderate carbonation bitty. Not enough mango.

Cask @ Knott Bar, Manchester. Cloudy orange juice coloured. There's mango in its taste of course, this is fairly sweet, and its milkshake styling is spot on. It slips down the palate too easily and you could drink this with a straw if its strength wasn't as evident as it is.
