Taste is sweet-ish and roasty, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, minimally fruity, notes of coffee, coffee liqueur, caramel, Bourbon, maple syrup, some treacle, a touch of vanilla cinnamon, wafer, pancake, a touch of dark honey, blueberry; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Can, 25cl. An almost clear one, deep auburn, oily, flat and headless. The aroma has coffee, dark dried fruit and lots of maple syrup, with some alcohol and toffee. Cocoa notes. It's full-bodied and warming, smooth and silky on the palate, with a good bitterness to balance all the sweetness. Roasted malts, coffee, toffee, cocoa notes, resin hints and alcohol. Boozy.
