lattina 440 ml, bel cappello di schiuma bianca fine persistente, colore oro velato, al naso cereali mandarino agrumi note floreali, in bocca pompelmo marshmallow frutta tropicale minerale e salatina, corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione forte, dolce con amaro moderato, asciutta nel finale. Dissetante e molto saporita. Alghe, senza glutine?! Ottima. c. Cantina della birra 19.08.22

Shared can on 23rd April 2022. Our last beer of the session at Message in a Bottle, Cleethorpes before retiring to our holiday house. Two of us split this one. Mini-haze to the golden body, decent white crown. Light orange and malty nose, taste also malty at first, giving way to some fruity notes and maybe a touch of saltiness in the finish; to be honest my taste buds were most likely shot. Scored as best I can. Not only had we been to the Grimsby Town v Torquay game (won 2-1) it was also the 46th anniversary of our meeting for the first time (my wife and I). It got a bit messy later once the sparkling stuff came out!

440ml can from Crafty Merlins. Gluten Free. Slightly hazy golden amber colour, bubbly white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of pale malt, floral, orange citrus. Taste is malt, biscuit, bready, with some citric notes, salty seaweed hints and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours lightly hazed yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas of orange, brown bread, faint salt. Taste is more of the same. Guess there's a hint of seaweed at the back.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a light haze. Off-white creamy head. Nose - general pale ale notes, so bread and orange. I'm not sure it's kelp but there is a light saltiness if you look for it. Taste - orange, light salty and herby. Bready backdrop again. Palate - light bodied, balanced bitterness. Overall - it's a nice pale ale. Not sure I'd have got the kelp if I didn't know beforehand.
