--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Murky straw colour, no head - not a looker. Aroma of papaya and green onion. Sweet with medium to full body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Husky porridge and metal. Papaya and lots of green onions. Inky bitter finish with serious hop burn. Tastes like lots of expensive ingredients gone to waste.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry with good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin malts but bringing a reasonable level of creamy sweetness. The hops, and that would be Rakau, Nelson Sauvin, Wai It, Moutere, Galaxy and Kohatu, bring a really pleasing bright layered citrus, layers of tangerine, mandarin and lime with a good savoury spicy hop bite running throughout. Crisp pine. Touche of Pomelo on the crisp spicy finish. Yeah, crisp, spicy and full of NZ goodness, well apart from Galaxy, I'll let them off for that..
