Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is berry fruitiness. Flavor is some wheat malt but an overall flat and lifeless beer. This was in a bargain bin and is probably old AF. It was cheap and has seen better days.

04-05-19 // bottle sahred with my Kristallweizen crew. The #1 Kristallweizen. Thanks to a freind for brigning this bottle from Russia. Not a Kristallweizen in the typical way as its dryhopped and not really clear. But lovely in taste. Wheaty and yeasty body overlayed with a fresh hoppy aroma.

Holy cow, just like that, a russian (!) beer became the world's Nr1 Kristalweisen on ratebeer ! My intrest is triggered, sir ! thnx to Vasily for getting me this beer. Pours dark yellow with a haze ( huh? kristal... HUH ? ) Small white head. Smell is bit hoppy, the spicy, floral kind. very mild esthers and phenols. Taste is bitter ( again, HUH ? ) with floral hoppyness. Esthers and phenols are the very background, phenols give some spice to it that kinda clash with the hops, making it taste like unripe fruits. Seems like a overly phenolic and esthery IPA, ( Belgian IPA pops to mind ) how about we call this sorta beer a German IPA, than ? Anyway, in the given styles of ratebeer, I can't picture why enyone would regard to this as a kristalweisse....

Bottle. Hot Damn - a Russian Kristallweizen! Grass/fresh hay, banana, clove, wheat malt aroma. Slight hazy golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet banana, wheat malt and moderately bitter grass/light clove flavor. Okay body. Pretty hoppy for the style - nice.

Bottle: Hazy amber-orange with a puffy off-white head. Wheat, banana, juicy-fruit gum aroma. Flavour is soft, lightly white-peppery wheat malt, banana, a bit of leafy/spiced bitter. Easy drinking and tasty.....wouldn't call it a pure Kristall, though.....the hops add a nice difference to it,....enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’ place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy golden. Aroma of fruity esters, bubblegum, fruity and herbal hops, sweetish, slightly tart, yeast, a bit floral, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. Nice.
