This is a two-year-old spontaneous blend conditioned on two-and-a-half tonnes of organic British chuckleberries. A process of carbonic maceration was used to open up the berries, revealing their full, rich bouquet.

Bottle #Coronashare23 with special guest Chocolate Joseph. Pours ruby red with a small head. Intense like out of this world red and black berries. Jammy is an understatement. Acidic with a touch of funk. Delicious although quite forwarded fruity. Big sipper.

Bottle, part of the Festive box sold online. Just about clear, ruby red. No head. Looks like a glass of Beaujolais. Nose has a load of blackcurrant and sweet, black cherry. Some sweet Autumn raspberry. Further notes of sweet, vanilla oak. Soft, goats cheese funk. Smells great. Taste has a jammy sweetness, but mostly is considerably tart, dry, a little bitter. Plenty of acidity and dryness on the palate, erring toward enamel stripping. Fine carbonation. Lingering fruit acidity to finish. Lots to like, but maybe this needs to sit for a considerable time to round itself out.
