This is a two-year-old spontaneous blend conditioned on two-and-a-half tonnes of organic British chuckleberries. A process of carbonic maceration was used to open up the berries, revealing their full, rich bouquet.

Bottle shared at Ganz. Pours deep ruby with a long lasting pinkish head, marvelous. Nose is huge punch of jammy fruits, incredibly intense and vivid, I could spend a day just sniffing on this. Also a touch of funk to it. Taste is very, VERY sour. I mean immensely, extremely puckering. And also fucken genious I migh add. Loads of jammy berries, funk, light wood but all this in mindblowingly balanced and layered. Thick and rich body and soft to average carbontion. Not heavy but rather difficult to drink due to the high acidity. One of the best beers I've had recently, it really hit the spot for me.

12 February 2022. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks for hosting, Tim, and cheers to the whole crew!

Hazy red, thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of blackcurrant, brambleberry, cranberry, red grape peel, coulis, vague toast & jam. Taste has sweetish-sour blackcurrant, brambleberry & berry peels, note of red grape and jam, bit lemony. Tart, berry-like finish, quite mouth-puckering by the woody tannins. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Quite excellent.

Pours slightly unclear, intense redamber. Small white head. Scent is full, very intense on the berries. Melomel mead meets lambic-like funk ! strong tart impressions. Taste is full, intense fruit and tartness. Very dry, funky, some oak. Very juicy. Harsh. Intense sipper.

12/II/22 - 75cl bottle @ BBGG Winter 22, BB: XI/2023 (2022-175) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the bottle!

Clear ruby to red brown beer, small creamy to irregular off-white beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: oxidized, a bit malty, very fruity, raspberry jam. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, very sourish, puckering up baby! Some bitter tannins, a little fruity, raspberries, dry, bit metallic. Aftertaste: very acidic, super sour, dry, some more raspberry jam, a little bitter, super lemony, meh… Was expecting more because of the smell.

75cl bottle @ Brewver Winter Gathering '22, thanks Bjorn. BB 11/2023.

Bottle shared in Hazlemere - cheers to Tipple. Pours mostly clear blood red with a small, foamy pink head. Lightly sweet, assertive chuckleberry tartness, some musty funk, sturdy acidity. Light bodied with average carbonation. Quenching finish, nice berry tartness, pretty clean acidity. Sound.

Bottle, split at the Hazlemere Movember and chops tasting, thanks to Fergus 12/11/21. Lightly hazed cherry red with a decent crimson covering that turns to a swirl. Nose is blackcurrant, sharp berries, barnyard nip, damp straw, berry pips, light spice. Taste comprises sharp redcurrant, acidic throat scrape, berry pips, funk, barnyard bite, blackcurrant jam on the turn. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good acidic bite. Solid.
