0.33 l bottle from 'Drankgigant.nl', best before April 2024. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty, slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, bourbon and light green apple. Quite sweet, malty, rather roasty and a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, burnt bread crust, bourbon and hints of green apple, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, gently earthy, minimally boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Impy, a touch of green apple spoils it just a little.

33cl Fles van Walhalla. Tegenvallertje dit. Groene appels voorop, turf, drop, laurier, chocolade, koffie, zodra de appels verdwenen zijn is het prima, maar het is te overheersend voor mij. Er zit een hele goede stout onder maar die wordt verpest door de matige Barrel Ageing. Erg jammer.
