On tap at Craft Beer Lab, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry bready malt and some earthiness. Flavour is stale tasting, with bready malt, earthy notes, and just stale toasted malt. What's going on here? This isn't good.

Aroma of sweet caramel fusel and sugar notes. Has a clear copper body with minimal head. Flavour is a mix of sweet molasses and grain. Dry finish. Much nicer than their flagship pilsner but by no means is this good.

Pours clear amberred. Small, but medium stable, layer of white head. Smell is toasty, tad sweetened perhaps ? some bready basemalts as well. Seemingly clear fermentation profile, and no real hops arrise to the scent. Taste is medium bitter, pretty sharp, mild vegetable notes ( perhaps a mild DMS note ? ) somewhat corny. Toastyness is milder than anticipated for. Ends rather dry. OK.

Less foul tham the regular efes. Copper pour and metallic taste. Tangy finish. Bottle in the Ataturk airport which I didn’t finish like Pac Man.

Bottle. Pours copper red with large foamy off-white head, faint caramel-malt aroma, sweetish caramel taste, medium carbonation, abrupt finish with little caramel aftertaste. Not too impressive.
