Bottle - labeled 10% abv - deep mahogany - moderate tan head - nose of oak, vanilla, cherry, earthiness, moderate tannic character - creamy texture, full body - lots of tart cherry, deep oak, cassia bark, vanilla, red wine, earthy British maltiness - deep and surprisingly complex, with a surprising level of tartness - I like.

Bottle. Pours a reddish brown hue with a small white head. A big sweet toffee and cherries nose. Sweet cherries, toast, more toffee, caramel, Belgian candy sugars. Quite nice.

12 ounce bottle. Rating number 5,555. Deep mahogany brown color has a tinge of burgundy red. Small creamy tan head. Cascading lace. Subtle toasted malt aroma has a hint of ripe cherries and oak.. Flavor upfront is semi-sweet toasted malt. Subtle roastiness is married with dark cherries that leaves a hint of cocoa. Soft on the palate. Some cherry tartness on the backend. Quite tasty.

Bottle/Fest. A- Cherries, caramel, biscuits. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Malt, caramel, mild cherry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Didn't love the base beer so I wasn't sure if the cherry would help. This was rather malty and the cherries almost added a medicinal touch although a sweet natural taste. Okay I guess.
