Can from the lcbo. Hazy yellow pour, with a large white head. Well balanced aroma. Coconut, and lime mingle and compliment the citrus, zest hop notes. Silky mouth feel, soft carb. Medium bitter, semi sweet coconut finish with an earthy lime note.

Lichte body. Wel smaakvol.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of lime, flowers, herbs and ripe tropical fruit. Pours murky straw color with non-existing head. Taste starts with medium sweet biscuit, vanilla and coconut, following is citrusy and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy key lime pie…

Tall can from Tramline at home. Probably 9 months old so trying to take into account. Super hazy opaque light yellow cream pour. Minimal white head. Aroma is definitely coconut with sharp citrus tang. Taste is similar. Sharp tang up front with nutty coconut, and lots of lemon lime tart. Palate is on the thin side with light carbonation. Good idea. Pretty well executed. Wouldn’t get again.

Pint can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky, yellow straw colour with little life. The aroma is lime and light coconut. The flavour is moderate sour, light sweet, with a smooth, tart lime, earthy, mineral coconut, very light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. My immediate reaction on pouring this was … what on earth is that! My grandfather would turn in his grave if he could see me drinking this “beer”. But times have changed and as a lime and coconut lover it was right up my street. Having said that though, it feels and tastes more like a cocktail than a beer. A poor man’s Pina Colada perhaps? Interesting. It gets my seal of approval but calling this an IPA is pushing the rules to the absolute limit.

150ml draught at Cafe Sånn. Hazy grey-golden body, dissipating white head, scattered lacing. Lemony hops and a note of nutshell on the nose. Fresh fruity taste of lemon, grapefruit and lime, coconuts far behind. Fine citrus bitterness to the ending. Salad friendly. (Tromsø 22.02.2022).

Honestly not all that hoppy - tastes more like a sour than an IPA. Big tart key lime flavor with a creamy coconut finish and just some subtle hops.
