Cask at the Hanging Bat. Black pour with a thin layer of beige head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, then cherries. Taste is smooth roast malts with more of the cherry cordial accents.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent tan head. The aroma is juicy cherry, tart, tangy, cacao, roasted malt, coffee grounds, jam and dull toffee. The taste is tarter than expected, juicy, tart cherry juice is the main player then eventually drops out, puckering, dull roast, touch of cacao and coffee with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. In comparison to the other ratings seems that this has got more sour. Cuts through it. Drinks easy. Decent.
