Pitch black colour with small beige head.Aroma of vanilla and chocolate hint of cinnamon and spices good roasted and toasted nice overall.

Can. Dark brown, almost black, coffee foam. Very sweet aroma: tonka, caramel, vanilla, rum, chocolate. Taste: sweet, caramel, vanilla, tonka beans, chocolate, rum, not bad enough.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg, consumed sat in Frank at Freising P & R, Thursday 16th April 2026. Pours pitch black with a fast disappearing head, thickness in the mouth, coconut and tonka bean in abundance, nice soft mouthfeel, creamy and indulgent but not too sweet. Good, v.good. Score 7.5

Can 0.5l, more than three years aged. Cloudy, black colored. AROMA- nice tonka, vanilla, cocoa nibs, pralines. FLAVOR- medium sweetness, moderately bitter, warming, liquor, tonka, cocoa, vanilla. Fuller bodied.

This 500 ml can was purchased at a beer shop outside downtown Prague a few months ago. Let us see how the added ingredients effect an imperial stout. And passing along, the label shows an ABV of 10.5%. I take a pour into a snifter from a Houston brewery to see a jet black body topped with a light skim of khaki foam that settles even more. I take a good sniff from the glass, the tonka is strong, really do not determine anything else. A drink now. An improvement from the scent, no question. Bitter chocolate, tonka, scorched grain, berries, a bit of roast and a moderate bitterness at the end. Complex brew, not one I am thrilled with, but interesting.

Can at u kunstatu. Pours black, nose is chocolate, liquorice, tonka, taste is similar, quite bitter and roasted.

Poured from 500mL can (bb 03.02.27). Dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is tonka and vanilla forward. Tonka really comes through here. Taste of tonka, earthy spiced vanilla, light roast malt, oats, not bad. This is fairly on par with Twin Sails Tonka Bar, even though I ultimately rounded down to a 3.8 in this case.
