Draught No head left but for yellow rim; bright reddish amber beer. Rainwater, faintly coloured malts and faintly... fruity? Totally different situation in the mouth, where the 'old' (aged) flavour chestnut flour often conveys to beer is immediately apparent. Sweet, caramel, biscuit. Bit sticky. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Ticks the boxes. Sweet, but that is difficult to avoid with this.

Bottle at Base Camp. Not much chestnut character, honestly none at all. Very good polotmavy lezak though. Nice caramelly, toasted, nutty maltiness. Very clean, balanced, easy drinking. Very good.

Tap at the brewery restaurant. Hazy ruby red body, off-white head. Perfumey, malty, caramelly and lightly chestnutty aroma. Sweet jammy, fruity cleanly malty taste with sime light chestnut undertones perhaps and light bitterness. I dig it, completly okay with the beer - well made!

(bottle 0,75l from Pivní Mozaika (Opava)) Overall: Good amber strong beer. Nicely sweet and malty with soft chestnut twist. Aroma: Sweet, caramel, light toasty / maybe nutty. Appearance: Clear amber-reddish. Minimal beige head. Taste: Medium sweet, caramel, bread, honey-like malty, maybe some notes of chestnuts (if you seek after them). Palate: Medium-full body. Sticky texture. Light warm, light bitter, light astringent finish.
