Can 0.5l, four years aged. Lightly cloudy, dark amber to copper colored. AROMA- caramel, cranberry, raisins, dried figs, sherry. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, moderately bitter, warming, raisins, figs, dates, caramel, strawberries, mix of forest berries, a bit earthy. Full bodied.
Good.

Tap at BGB. Clear rubyish red body, off-white head, lovely looking. Heavy malt-driven aroma, caramelly, perhaps some esters to it. Big, full-bodied aroma, strong caramelly maltiness, huge even, as is the raisin presence. Sweetish, ending with light bitterness. Classy, if simplistic, a pretty good barleywine.

Tap at Malt Worm. Full body, medium carbonation. Lots of strawberry jam, general berry character, sherryish. Also dried fruits, caramelly. Slightly grassy. There is a generous amount of warmth here - to be expected with barley wine, but this is bordefline boozy. I would like to see more complexity of any kind, because this just seems strong as fuck and that is about it. It does this well enough, so good, but not great.

Can. Kinda sweet. Very sweet. Certainly maturing could improve the overall feel. But it is a winter warmer sipper even now. Good
