Classical one, on the German tradition, malty, metalic, watery, hop, not extraordinary but it is a drinkable one.
15.10.17, at Prélaz, finding it in one coop.

12 oz can from Costco in Bakersfield on Rosedale. Nose is malty and caramelly with a light herbal essence of ivy plants. Rusty brown with a big tan head. Flavor is malty and light sweetness with a background hint of bitterness in the finish..

Draft. Actually not a bad offering from the ol’ BBC. A bit too bland because the sweet predominates but otherwise not too awful. Drinkable.

Old rating from 2013 - 355ml bottle from the National Brewery Museum in Burton upon Trent. Poured at home in Jersey. It's copper colour with a thin white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, toffee, raisins, grain, toast, hints of spice & malt. Medium body. Medium sweet finish. Highly enjoyable

Bottle. I wish we were able to pick more than one favorite because these are my second favorites. Anyway, nice deep amber color. Aroma was a roasted, yeasty malt smell. Flavor, malty, medium sweet slight bitter. Nice.

Beautiful amber pour, nice beige head. Aroma of minerals, chalk, cut grass and light meaty malts. Flavor was stale, grassy, and reminded me alot of wet paper. Old bottle? Disapointing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Very pretty reddish - actually very reddish beer with a somewhat confined head. Very aromatic and extremely tasty. Sweetish spiced virh moderate hoppiness. Well of course the Americans also brews an OctoberFest Bier, and they do it well. 3.5
