Bottle at Night of the Great thirst 2017 - Lovell -Maine . Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours unclear yellow, no real head. Smell is full, funky, oak. intense and tart. taste is full, sharp, itense oak.

(Sample from 750ml bottle @ Koelschip tasting, May 11/17) Notes of unripe peach, mixed citrus peels and moderately tart juice, some Bretty funk, fairly strong but balanced oak notes, hay, slight green grape, fairly dry but not bone dry, with a good acidic core. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, mouth filling. Had to rush my sample somewhat but this was another great Bokkereyder gueuze in the more ’typical’ stylistic vein, another thing Raf seems to do very well.

From 750 ml bottle, v2015, at Koelschip, Copenhagen. Hazy golden orange color with off white. Yeasty and light malty aroma, funky, leather, stone citrus. Sweet and heavy acidic taste, salty too. Medium thin to oily body, dry with soft carbonation.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mediummdry and bretty to wooden. Mellow. Smooth fruity, bretty, dry and mellow. Smooth fruity. Lingering fruity far finish.
