June 2017 bottle drunk 7/18/17.
Blood red with no head. Lightly cloudy, though not overly so.
Smells tart, even though that's not an aroma. Vanilla and lactic acid are well-integrated, as usual for this series. Fruity and moderately juicy with lots of peppery, tannic blueberry skin.
Dry and heavily carbonated to start with more vanilla than usual, though it works nicely alongside the dry, tart, tannic, acidic blueberry character. It's not as starkly dry, lactic and borderline astringent as the mango version, but it's also no where near as juicy, full and round as the cherry/raspberry/blackberry versions.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 6/2017. Pours lightly hazy reddish/pink/purple color with a 1-2 finger foamy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/sour blueberries, fruit skin, cherry, plum, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, vanilla, cream, light lacto funk/pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, blueberries, vanilla, lactose, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/sour blueberries, fruit skin, cherry, plum, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, vanilla, cream, light lacto funk/pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart blueberries, fruit skin, cherry, plum, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, hay, grass, wheat, cracker, vanilla, cream, light lacto funk/pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blueberries, vanilla, lactose, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/spiciness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Very crisp, foamy, and dry from carbonation. Clean finishing. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Berliner weisse. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, blueberries, vanilla, lactose, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the balanced tart/dry finish. Really great balance of the base style and fruit flavors. The lactose balances the acidity, and the carbonation makes this insanely easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.

Draft at Harbor Bar. Light, murky pinkish-purple. Frothy white head. Bright blueberry and vanilla Fruity aroma and flavor. Soft feel. Fairly sweet, lightly sour. Solid, but leans toward fruit beer more than Berliner just a tiny amount more than I would have preferred.
