22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is intense, with loads of whiskey barrels and coffee upfront, followed by dark cocoa and heavy roast. Flavour is intense on the dark roasted coffee beans, espresso, dark cocoa, and whiskey barrels. The coffee takes centre stage, with a really nice dark espresso character that's accentuated by the whiskey. Lovely stuff.

Bottle, thanks to Tips, split at the Grand Reunion Tasting, Watford 02/10/20. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is big on barrel, dried fruits, chocolate, booze tunes, toffee. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, big whisky tones, mellow coffee, light spice, charr, chocolate dipped raisins, dried fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close married with a balanced rising boost. solid BA impy with an old skool vibe and a big whisky kiss ... well executed.

Bottle shared at the 2nd Watford tasting. Huge thanks to Tipple for this one. A jet black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is meaty roast, smoky whisky, peat, brown sugars, mint. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded rich roast, smooth whisky, smoke, Warming alcohol. Big rich roast, robust. Palate is oily, rich, moderate carbonation, full bodied.

Bottle shared in Watford - cheers to Tipple. Pours black with a frothy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with some toasted vanilla, brownies, burnt toffee, cocoa, some torched wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation and velvety carbonation. Warming finish, more rounded chocolate, alcohol, mild roast, raisins. Excellent.

Refrigerated brown bomber, batch #2 poured into a snifter. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, medium/thick body, medium body, and pretty good small bubble lacing. Taste is chocolate, coffee, whiskey, and oak.

On Tap at BitterCreek, Boise Rich dark brown with a dark tan head. Sweet dark roast. Pretty well attenuated for such a high gravity beer. Lingering sharp roast and ABV burn. Nice chocolate and coffee flavors. Very good.

From bottle at home. Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, dark chocolate, coffee, dark dried fruits (mostly in the taste), cocoa, licorice, vanilla,light alcohol, wood, light smoked notes. Sweet and moderate to heavy bitter taste like aroma but a little bit more alcoholic, Medium to full silky oily body with soft carbonation.
