16 oz can from HyVee, Ankeny. Pours a kind of gold color, much like the lighter German festbiers than the coppery American Marzens. Big frothy head of foam. Malty smell, but perhaps some sugar to it. Taste, though, has just light malts, and good mix of noble hops to add slight bitterness and pepper.

Bomber courtesy of jackl. Thanks! Clear amber with a medium sized foamy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of toasted malts and caramel. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, mild grassy hops. Medium bodied, well balanced, simple and well executed.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has has a nice dry bread note with a light grain and straw note supporting. Flavor has crisp dry grain with bread and straw supporting.

Nice red copper color. Tall white head. Malt aroma and sweet malr flavors with grain and caramel. Very soft, smooth palate. Gooos, lightly dry finish. This might be the best Oktoberfest brewed in Minnesota.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a clear, dark golden orange appearance with an off white head. Clean, grassy, light caramel, somewhat floral, mild orange citrus aroma. Medium light body. Nutty, caramel flavor with some grainy flavor. Pretty easy drinking. Pretty good.
