Bottle @ home via trade. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance that’s pretty clear with no head. Aroma has dark fruits, red grapes, a little bit of smoke, caramel, and spices. Very dull carbonation. Lightly tart. Some vinegar in the mouth. Dark grapes, plums, cinnamon, leathery, light chemical, and a bit of soy sauce. Not very good and even more so since the carbonation sucks.

Bottle: Poured a dark reddish color ale with a relatively large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some oak and sour cherries notes also noticeable. Taste is close to most Flanders Red with some vinous notes with some oak and tart cherries with limited acidity level. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well done and probably a good idea to add some honey to cut down on the acidity.

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of funk and sour dark fruits with a bit of wine dryness and some spice. Flavor is a bit more acidic with dark fruits backed by some light funk, a bit of spice and a slightly dry finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours a hazy reddish amber with an off-white lacing head. Fun aroma of Christmas spices and sweet oak - slightly tart. Medium body, quite a heavy carbonation, some sweet brown sugar, tart fruitiness and quite some oak. Ends dry and very tart. An unusual beer, but the mulling spices could’ve been forgotten!. 180311
