On tap at Ferguson, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and some red fruits. Flavour is fruitier than anything, with light red fruits and dry toasted malt. Not getting any pecans. Fruity and dry. Simple beer.

Samples from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a a tan head this dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grain with some light roasted malt and a bit of sweet pecan coming through. Flavor has a nice pecan and sweet dark grain combination with a touch of roast underlying.

Pour is a brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is kinda nutty if you use your imagination. Flavor is about the same. Brown ale malt with a very slight nutty flavor. This was kinda meh. I was hoping for more of a pecan but its more of a blacn brown ale.

Tap @ Ferguson. Pours a bit hazy brown appearance with a tan head. Toasty nutty, caramel, slightly roasty nose. Slightly low carbonation. Kind of syrupy, toasted pecan, toffee, toasted grainy flavor. Bleh.

Shaker pint draft at Ozzies in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is a clear brown copper with more or less no head. Aroma is nutty, along with a touch of generic malt sweetness. Taste is the nutty maltiness of the nose, along with some bright floral sweetness. Palate is medium, a bit slick. Straight forward decent brown.
