From tap at the brewery. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is caramelish and toasted malty. Bitter and chocolate malty, light herbal. Toasted and smooth toasted into the finish.

From a growler. I would have called this a mild. Dark brown. Dry roasted malt aroma and more in the flavor with grain. Smooth palate, very drinkable. A good session beer. Dry, earthy finish.

Tap @ Stanleys Minneapolis. Pours a reddish appearance with a light brown head. Rich toffee, toasty caramel malty, earthy aroma. A bit thin, watery, toasty, cracker, bready toffee malty, herbal flavor. Ok.
