On tap at Dangerous Man, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of cocoa and lactose, smelling pretty close to chocolate milk. Flavour is along the same lines, with heaps of dark chocolate milk, light lactose sweetness, and cocoa. Nicely constructed, with deep dark cocoa notes lingering on and on. Very good.

Minnesota Beer Trip #237. Keg at the brewery, 5/13/16. Dark brown, thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of big chocolate notes, lactose, roasted malts. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, cherries, lactose. Medium bodied, smooth.

Crowler purchased at the brewery in Minneapolis, Minnesota - canned on 8/18 purchased 8/20 consumed 8/21. The pour is black brown with a thick 3 inch khaki head. The aroma is fresh roast malt, coffee with a bit of sweet chocolate, caramel and pine hop towards the back. The taste is the roast coffee malt, dark and milk chocolate milky sweet and the pine hops drying the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral resin pine softly sweet longish finish. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of roasted malts with a decent amount of milk chocolate and a bit of sweet dark grains. Flavor has sweet chocolate throughout with sweet dark grains and a hint of roasted malts.

On tap @ Dangerous Man. Pours a dark brown appearance with a dark brown head. Fairly roasty, a touch ashy smoky, marshmallow, chocolate aroma. Somewhat smoky, creamy chocolate, lightly bitter coffee, burnt flavor. Tasty

Draft at Dangerous Man. From notes. Sweet vanilla and loads of dark chocolate. Awesome. The best beer I tried from Dangerous Man.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is solid vanilla and chocolate. Artificial flavoured. Rather dense vanilla and dusty chocolate powder. Bitter and chocolate finish.
