Draft/Fest. A- Gin, juniper, soap. A- Orange gold color, cloudy liquid white head. T- Juniper berries, citrus, gin. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Apparently they finally released the rest of this beer and it’s done well. The gin is definitely noticeable and really holds together what I feel would be an otherwise boring saison. Nice flavors and aroma.

Bottle @ Vail, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Big juniper spicy, lemon zesty, lemon-lime, spritzy aroma. Kind of juicy carbonated, juniper, lime, dry, lightly tart flavor. Kind of bizarre but not all that bad.

Tap. Pours hazy amber with a medium off-white head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, herbs - some juniper and coriander obvious, black pepper. Flavor is similar, herbal and light plus sweet with zesty bitterness due to the orange peel. Light body overall. It is not obvious from the description whether this has been gin barrel aged, or if this is the base beer that is GOING to be aged, but in any case i picked up no barrel or gin notes. Not a bad saison, however.
