Bottle pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is brett some earthy notes spice and even a touch of fruit. Taste is more of the nice big brett kick spice and floral.

Bottle 395 of 2100. Aroma is fairly Brett forward with a ton of tropical fruit, pineapple and citrus. Light phenolic peppercorn character, but overall this is very Brett forward. There are gushers and then there are those beers that remind you of Pompeii. This is the latter. Once I am able to pour a beer it pours a cloudy pale yellow with a big pillowy white head. Head has quite a long retention time and a large amount of lacing. Flavor is also fairly bretty but this time the phenolic character is bordering on plastic and is overly harsh. Moderate pineapple, tropical fruit and cherry pie with hints of citrus. Phenolic character is peppercorn but also with a plastic finish. Medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with high carbonation. Medium low, but present astringency with low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright Brett beer but there are definitely better ones out there. It might have been better fresh but after a year and a half the phenolic character has gotten less than pleasant.

750 ml bottle purchased at Joy n Denver, Colorado. Bottle 1087 of 2100. The pour is hazed yellow golden with a one inch fizzy white head, foamy, falls with pretty lacing. The aroma is light citrus, dry leather brett, and clove yeast. The taste is the dry Brett leather up front, citrus, additional fruit sweetness and a return to the dry Brett in the finish. The palate is light to medium, high level of active carbonation, and a super dry finish. Nice one, tons of Brett character.

Bottle 745 of 2100 thanks to a trade with ratman. Extreme effervescence. Huge white head that builds over a hazy pale straw hue with noticeably violent carbonation. Aromas are funky, earthy, floral and brett. Some light chlorophenolics. Leathery, damp leaves, pineapple, earthy, bay leave and tarragon. Phenols are medium, medium low malt (bready). Lightly green and herbal. A slight touch of an umami note. Flavors are dry, medium to low bitter, funky phenolics, brett, tarragon. Light plastic note in the mid palate. Bready, grainy, possibly some wheat. Mildly pineapple and star fruit esters. Dry balance Extremely lively carbonation, dry, nice and light elegant saison body. Surprisingly not nearly as complex as some of their simpler saisons. Enjoyable but not my favorite from this extremely good brewery.

Bottle thanks to Aaron. Pours a very hazy pale yellow a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice funky nose with light fruits, flora and a hint of light grains. Flavor begins with a good amount of Brett with some earthy sweet grains and a hint of flora.

Turbid gold pour - frothy lace - nose is strong pineapple, herbal and peppery phenols (white pepper and sage), some background sulphur which ruins things a bit - flavor is dry and herbal, with light peppery and moderate plastic phenols - some light notes of pineapple, peppery, moderate herbal notes - light sulphur, but not nearly as much as in the aroma - flawed, but has potential to become a lot better with later batches.

Tap @ Cranknstein Foco. Cloudy, light yellow orange appearance with a white head. Pretty funky, pineapple, mango, citrusy, a bit musty aroma. Tart, bretty, funky pineapple, tangy citrusy flavor with a fairly dry, estery finish. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. By the way, this is a completely different recipe from their Saison.
