Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Malt and caramel aroma with light chocolate and chili. Chili and malt flavor with light chocolate. Medium bodied. Chili and malt lingers with light toffee and light chocolate. Thanks Ratman! More chili than was expected after talking with Ratman.

12 oz bottle from the Ratman himself at the Bistro BA Fest! Than ks Don! Nose is rich in chocolate with hints of roast, smoke, and chiles. Black with a small tan head. Flavor is chilis up front with moderate warmth that grows slightlu as you sip it. The rich chocolate is prominent also with light caramel. Finish is light chili warmth at the back of my throat. Nice balance between the chili and porter flavors. Really enjoying this one and waiting for the next special Ratman brew!

On tap at the brewery with Ratman. Pours with a lightly haze near black body with a small tan head that lasts. Aromas of light smoke, chocolate, a bit of spicy heat, chocolate with medium to light esters. Flavors of light heat, dark chocolate, vanilla. Milk chocolate, chipotle and a bit of dark roast. Light to medium carbonation. Medium bodied with a slightly dry finish (or the impression of one with the pepper heat). Cheers, Ratman!

Congrats to the one and only Ratman! Tap @ Strange. Dark brown appearance with a creamy brown head. Smooth dark chocolate, some pepper spiciness, light veggie, light roasty aroma. Mildly spicy, chili pepper, celery-like vegetal, creamy, dark chocolate flavor. Congrats again Ratz.
