A base of Vienna and Munich malts, then layered with a mix of speciality malts to create a rich wort that we blended with Cocoa husks to amplify the chocolate notes from the malts. The final result is a smooth and rich, easy drinking porter.

Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Pours clear dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of cocoa and little else. It's a bit thin. Not a right lot going on.

150nl draught at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Crocheted lacing from a dissipating fawn-coloured head, jet black body. Inviting smell of roasted dark malts. Malt-forward taste of chocolate, earth, and cocoa. Roasted grainy malts to the finish. Medium bodied. Well made porter for the low abv. Nice. (Tromsø 22.03.2023).

Svart. Lavt lysebrumt skum som daler sakte. Spotlacing. Aroma av karamell & kaffe. Smaken lakris. Mere kaffe igjen i en lett tørr avslutning.

27/1/2023. Cask at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours black with a bubbly/frothy tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt,. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Light drying roasted finish. Nicely done easy drinking porter and a rare treat to get a Burnt Mill in cask.

Cask at The White Horse, Parsons Green, London. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, bitter chocolate aroma. Tastes similar roasty, malty, bitter chocolate, hint of coffee. Really tasty porter on cask.
Nice stuff. Cocoa and chocolate. Dry! Good!
