A base of Vienna and Munich malts, then layered with a mix of speciality malts to create a rich wort that we blended with Cocoa husks to amplify the chocolate notes from the malts. The final result is a smooth and rich, easy drinking porter.

440ml can. Pours black with a dense tan head. Aroma of roast malts, light ash, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste is pretty roasty and bitter, coffee, dark chocolate, ashy, good assertive bitterness that lingers. Medium bodied.
Simple yet delicious porter. Love this.

Keg draught at the Arcade Tavern, Ipswich. Black (or very very dark brown) with an uneven swirl of khaki head. Aroma of black malts, some light coffee and chocolate. Sweet taste, more coffee here, with a good bitterness wiping away the treacly character. Light body with heavy carbonation. Impressive.

can super nice quite dry roasted malty aroma, notes of cocoa, sweet nuts, chocolate malts. rich roasted malty aroma. flavor is cocoa, roasted malts, chestnuts, walnuts, coffee. all flavors seem to be malt driven or cocoa, hops are almost not there, bitterness seem to be mostly malt driven. still the beer tastes complete. one of the best and most smooth porters below 5% i have had for a long time.
