473ml can. Hazy, brass colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, slightly sugary, pale malty background, unspecific fuitiness with citrusy aspects, a touch of grape sugar. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly sugary, pale malty and fruity hoppy, unspecific fruitiness, some citrusy aspects. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously (due to the sugar) minimally dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. A tad monotonous and expressionless - not exactly Adroit Theory's best effort.

Very hazy deep bronze and orange coloured body with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall tan and off-white head that at least stays afloat for a while. Aroma of stone fruits, with apricots, peaches, plums, some deep oranges coming from the hops, but of course, the alcohol and malt really drives this in the nose after the initial smells of the hops die down. Full-bodied; Deep and rich malt flavours show above everything with a strong alcohol and metallic astringency here, with a little bite from the stone fruits, and a more pungent metallic, grassy and deep alcohol finish with a big malt presence here, too, but the alcohol, warmth and pungent flavours really come out, especially at the end. Aftertaste is rich, potent, citrusey, but with way more stone fruits and bringing out a deep bitterness and alcohol bite from the malts and subdued, but obviously still there - sugars that make this rich, robust & complex. Overall, a very strong, relatively well-balanced, deep, bitter and astringent Imperial IPA that clearly shows all 10 per cent abv, but at least diverges from the cloyingly sweet ten percenters that Adroit Theory sometimes makes. This was nice to try - decent and robust, but not one of my favourites - at least this was super fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 23-October-2021 for US$5,99, canned on 01-September-2021 with the tagline 'Anybody Killa', sampled at my house here in Washington on 28-November-2021.
