Cute, unique, rounded, stemmed neck, 375ml bottle from Astor Wines. Cheapo stemless wine glass @home. Rich, orange-y, better check your kidneys, urine color. Smells sour & heavy of glue & solvent, backdrop of leafy greens, bolder tail of vinegar & gum. Taste is fun & confusing. I think it starts out like a Spanish sidra, but it's juicier, the middle has like a splash of mango nectar. Super tropical & kinda sweet, but contrasting the bitter & sour endgame. In the middle there is this very green bitterness that persists all the way through. Vinegar is doable. Wild funk gets overlapped by the acidity & fresh fruit. Natural sulphites, but not harsh. Not another Spanish sidra. Sharp but sparse - still fermenting bubbles, juicy & thick, but filtered & smooth. Prickly feel after it's all gone. Alcohol is there, but hits like a well mixed cocktail. Lots of fun. Definitely different. Good.
