Bottle from a random cornershop in Manhattan. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, toasted malt, notes of nuts and hops. Medium carbonation and smooth finish.

Having this in NY City after my band played there. Pours a deep golden colour with a very long lasting head that gives out nice lacing. Great fresh caramel malt aromas with grain notes. Average mouthfeel and the taste is a little lighter than the nose. Still good with the caramel and cereal grains. A pretty good lager that is above average.

Bottle 12fl.oz.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120419]

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled 11/08/2011. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention that reduces to a thick cap that lingers. Some decent soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of apricot, caramel, toasted malt, bread, and light spiciness. Some decent malty aromas with good strength and balance. Taste of toasted malt, bread, caramel, light fruit, nuttiness, and floral spices. Fairly dry finish; but some lingering notes of bread, toasted grain, light fruit, and herbal spice on the finish for a bit. Medium carbonation and body; with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming on the finish present. Smooth and easy drinkability. Good balance of flavors. Overall this is a solid and drinkable Vienna Lager offering. Good amount of flavor and balance.

Shaker pint draft at the Ye Olde Falcon Pub in Davie, Florida. Pour is a light hazed golden copper with a 1/2 inch white head. Aroma is lightly sweet toasted malt, some grassy hay. Clean, though faint. Some toasted malt comes out as it warms. Taste is light grain, toasted sweet malt, the clean fresh hay of the nose. Aftertaste has some bright hoppiness. Palate is light bodied, un-filtered mouth feel and the bright hopped finish. Crisp and clean beer, I enjoyed it.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 09/09/2011. Bottle courtesy of a traveling friend. The beer pours a clear amber-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of mild hops and toasted malt. Light to medium body with flavors of bready malt, grassy hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is short and lightly hopped. Pretty average overall.
