Toasted Lager was originally named for the “toasted” characteristic of our original direct-fire brick kettle. Our World Beer Cup gold medal winning flagship brew is brewed with a blend of six specialty malts for a flavor as rich and unique as the town it’s from. Toasted Lager’s balanced flavor of malt and hops makes for easy drinking and our special proprietary lager yeast produces an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish.

Rcvd in trade.
The appearance was a hazy amber/copper colored body with a one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute leaving a nice speckled thin white lacing. Carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace.
The smell is bready with a caramel maltiness and gets kinda toasty yet buttery as it warms.
The taste has sweet caramel breadiness that comes across fairly smooth and crisp. There is a sweet roasty caramel aftertaste and long sweet finish - nice - I like it.
The palate is about a light to medium, and pretty sessionable. Carbonation runs along my mouth and tongue fairly smooth and is good for the style and for me.
Overall, hey nice American Red Lager that I would have again.

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. Amber with a tight cream head; sweet aroma with a tough of honey; toasted grain taste; and a smooth dry finish with a hint of caramel. A nice Vienna.

Bottle thanks to Lewis. Pours light amber with a thin cream head and steady carbonation. The nose has light honey and cornflakes. The taste has honey and lemon against a corn and pale malt backbone/ The palate is light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a refreshing finish.

24 Jan 2013. Our ship had just left Montego Bay and we were heading towards Cartagena in Columbia: I was thirsty and decided to open a pint and 6oz bottle of this brew to slate that thirst. Poured into one of my stateroom tumblers (three times) it showed a light amber body with an off-white head. Toffee nose with a malty caramel taste: this is a semi-sweet brew with a drying finish of hop bitterness: I quite liked it.
