A cider aged on LA Cresent & Petite Pearl skins from our good friend Ethan at Iepetus.
We fermented wild apple on a large amount of La Crescent skins, and then, mid-ferment we doubled down and aged them on Petite Pearl skins.

Bottle from cider club. Duvel glass @ home. Murky deep purple on brown, unfiltered brew with a middling amount of head. Smells of wine grapes, jelly, grape gum, wild apple fermentation, salt. Taste is strong in grape skins & grape gum, with a little apple astringency trying to cut through middle to end. Dominated by jammy wine notes, but saved at the end with more apple astringency. Wild notes seem to just be getting started. Body is on the thicker/yeasty side, but is expectedly dry. Carbonation is low. Too much jam.
