Bottle from Covenhoven. I recall having this when it first came into the market. Since then, this latest batch, some real cider fruit may have been integrated. Duvel glass. Clear, mellow gold body, touch of lace & gentle activity below. Smells of leafy bitterness & sweet, macerated grocery apples. Taste is bitter, grassy core. Green & rindy. Thin & acidic, it burns a little. Chewy, quickly fading middle. Chalk, popsicle sticks, white wine. Okay carbonation, hard for the ABV. An okay quaffer. Better early then left open & revisited. Wilderness is still so much better, but this is affordable.

From tap. Pours pale and clear yellow. Small white head. Aroma is dry zesty apples. Citric, bitter and zesty. Dry apples finish.

Tap at Strong Rope. Clear yellowish cider color smal head. Nose is tart Apple skin. Tastes of Apple skin and meat, white wine, hint of ginger, and grass. Pleasant didn’t know from queens so had to try.
