Perfectly clear rose and light pink coloured body with no head at all on top, and what was there faded faster than soda. Aroma of very crisp and incredibly pungent apples with a lot of sweetness behind showing almost a pure honey or fructose note, with some deeper currant and cherry notes with a hint of blueberries, but more of a tart cranberry vibe, although the apples are by far the strongest, the other flavours are noticeable. Light-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong tart and crisp red currant notes with a dash of tartness to start out, but the large sweetness follows soon afterwards and leaves a pure sugar and almost cloying character right behind with some fresh apple and pear notes on the edges. Aftertaste is all fruit-based with a lot of apple, pear and espescially cranberry and red currant notes that show more of a deep side to the cider, but the truth is - there are more sugars here than in most ciders, especially considering the alcohol. Overall, a nicely layered and relatively well-fruited cider with a smooth tart flavour throughout that blends well with the strong and sweet apple notes. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Eataly in New York (Downtown location), New York on 13-August-2018 for US$3,80 sampled at home in Washington on 02-April-2020, to honour the front line workers [of every trade] dealing with things in New York right now.

Single from New Beer Distributors. Perfect pint glass. Deep, clear lake, crispy rose-like body. Smells of grape jam & not much else. Taste is tart, tannic apples & grape juice. Booze & light yeasty notes down the back. Slick, sugary texture, moderate carbonation. Too direct. Nothing really curious about it. Nothing really at fault either.
