Super pale golden and almost white coloured body with a super effervescent and fast-dying pure white head with large bubbles and nothing else. Aroma of tart granny smith apples with a hint of allspice and light coriander seed, but nothing else aside from the fresh apples and a slight squeeze of lemons. Light-bodied; Strong apple and light citrus flavours dominate wit a touch of mild and soft coriander seeds for freshness along with a dry (bone dry) puckering of the mouth due to the soured and super tart apples. Aftertaste shows the very soft and easy-going apple and citrus flavours with only a touch of spice and nothing else of context - this is very simplistic and ultra pure in terms of flavours and especially the (non-existent) complexity. Overall, a pretty underwhelming cider, although it did live up to the billing on the front of the can, being 'bone dry'. The cider was soft, mild, bare of character and depth and showing no complexities at all. Not a bad cider, but a very easy drinking and refreshing one for when the weather gets hot. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 09-May-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-May-2020.

Shared a bottle from my local beer shop at a BBQ & barely had any, so I had to grab a single from the corner market for a proper rate. Just got home & noticed it was not still at all, so add it to the database I must. Tulip pour. A clear, pale body, somewhere richer then straw, but not quite MGD yellow. Sprity, zestful carbonation. Smells of melon, lemon, wine, residual yeast & faint funk. Taste is ashy dry champagne, floral & minerally. The bubbles just aren’t as tight. A little tannic skin lingers on my tongue, but otherwise this drinks like a slightly flat, low alcohol cava. Low sulfites, mild tartness, leafy greens bitterness, refreshing. Pretty decent for a low cost cider, despite my less then complimentary words.
