Keg sample at Whole Foods Wauwatosa, 10/25/16. Clear golden, no head. Aroma of sweet apple, apple skins, earth, pepper. The taste is earthy apples, dry apples, hints of brown sugar and sweet apple. Thin, nearly still.

On tap at City Works. Pours a near clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice dry apple with a light bitterness and touch of earthiness. Flavor has a nice sweet apple with a nice bitterness and a hint of dryness in the finish.

Sampled in between sessions at The-Festval in Worcester, MA. 6%abv edition.
Mellow yellow, white wine sort of color. Just a touch of haze.
Husky, perry-ish florals, soapy scent.
Tastes is hay & core. White grapes. Mellow, minerally flesh, & soft tannins.
Solid acid, shy tartness, Just a peep of ugly alcohol. Moderate sulfites. Spritzy.
Not my favorite on the table that day. Needs a revisit.

On tap as AeppelTreow Kinglet Cider (although listed as 5.8%) at Beer Revolution. Pours with a clear golden yellow body with minimal signs of carbonation. Some legs. Aroma is a bit corky and a touch sweet. Light sulfur, cantaloupe, caramelized apple character. Flavors are light to medium sweet and very well balanced by tannin and a medium-strong acidity. Just a hint of effervescence (really minimal). Tastes bigger than listed at the bar, but not 10% (maybe 7.5%). Medium to slightly syrupy bodied. Overall very well balanced.
