Hazy golden coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall just off-white head and a lot of hazy yellow tints. Aroma of bananas, lemons, wheat, yeast, coriander seed and hints of bubble gum - very nice and light. Medium-bodied; Chewy wheat and yeast flavours up front with a lot of grassy and fruity flavours noticeable like passionfruit, hay, yeast and definitely bananas noticeable. Aftertaste is a bit more refined and traditional - the yeast and wheat really come out with a little bit of sweetness and some of the lighter spice notes. Overall, a nice beer with some good complexity and solid flavour profile and a hint of sourness on the end. Definitely worth trying if you can find it in bottles (if they decide to bottle it) or if you are here at the brewpub in the summertime! I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub in Anchorage, Alaska on 25-June-2011.

Hand bottle thanks to Maltomeal at the Houston May 2011 tasting. Pours a cloudy yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is a floral hop and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a crisp sour fruit with a good crisp finish. Easy to drink, a good berliner weisse from Midnight Sun.
