Brewed specially for Summit's 20th anniversary, this was a call back to one of our original styles. Aromas of pine, citrus and spice lead to earthy malts and biscuit flavors. Finishes with a hoppy spiciness.

12oz bottle. Filtered looking amber-orange color, with small, patchy head. Mild sweet non-aroma. Relatively light bodied, with some mild caramel malt tones alongside an odd vegetable unclean bitterness, not really that good, sticky aftertaste. Sort of goes for a true English style interpretation, and falls short. The malt tones are really not thick enough to work with/cover up the odd hops. A little disappointing.

Bottle from thirdeye11/mar. Pours with a white head and a hazy amber body. Aroma of grainy, huskyness and caramel. Taste is dry with grain and cardboard. Medium fizzy and dryness.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper amber with a medium frothy off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a dark fruit with a spicy malt. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a rich malt with raisin and caramel. A good ESB from Summit.

Pours a pretty badass thick head with a pretty light brown color. Really sweet and fruity aroma. I think the taste is pretty heavy is dark, thick fruitiness. Leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Pretty sweet and malty.

Pour is a dark red with a soapy white head. Aroma is a nice helping of dark fruit and caramel malts. Flavor is again some weaker dark fruit with some brown sugar and a bit of molasses. A tasty ESB especially from this brewer which i was not expecting much from.

Sample from tap at the brewery. Pours amber with a light brown head. Aroma is soft malty, slight fruity. Flavour is lovely sweet with a good fruitiness. Finish is bitter sweet.

Orange-brown body, thick light tan head. Effervescent carbonation. Hoppy nose, toasty, with hints of grapefruit peel. Grapefruity, citrusy body, actually a swirl of bitter and tart hops flavors greet the palate upon sipping the beer. Almost puckering. The finish is grassy and somewhat metallic, long and bitter. For some reason this has a grainy or gritty mouthfeel. It’s as if keeping this in the mouth for too long would allow the beer to crystalize. This beer is messy and unrefined.

Bottled and labeled as their 20th anniversary beer from this brewery terrified of taking a risk or experimenting with their beers. Its a good enough bitter. Light amber color. Malt and lemon grass aroma. Thin head. Flavor has lightly sweet malt and fresh bread. Thin palate.
